The Demonstration Zone connects mobility startups with industry partners, providing real-world environments to test, validate, and scale new solutions for moving people and goods.
Led by the City of Vaughan, the Demonstration Zone is funded in part by the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network’s (OVIN).

 

What We Offer

Testbed Pilots

Our demonstration projects allow the City to test new mobility technologies in real‑world conditions, generating valuable data and hands-on experience that inform evidence-based approaches to municipal policy and innovation. These short-term initiatives also enable the City to assess the effectiveness, safety, accessibility, and privacy of innovative solutions before implementing them more broadly.
