Inter Toronto FC Activation Opportunity
Inter Toronto Football Club (FC), formerly York United Football Club, is working with Tourism Vaughan for the 2026 Canadian Premier League Season. This collaboration includes activation space at home matches and expressions of interest to utilize this opportunity are now open.
Opportunity
At each Inter Toronto TC home match, there is a collection of businesses and brands that are hosted to deliver pop-up activations. Examples of this would include handing out swag or selling products.
Tourism Vaughan has secured activation space at eight of Inter Toronto FC’s home matches for the 2026 Season. These spots are being offered to our network of Vaughan-based businesses on a first-come, first-served basis.
Activation Details
Inter Toronto FC home matches take place at York Lions Stadium (230 Ian MacDonald Blvd., North York).
A 10-foot by 10-foot space is provided for the activation. Exhibitors/vendors will need to bring their own pop-up canopy tent and tables. A power supply can be supplied if requested in planning stages.
Exhibitors/vendors are provided with access 3 hours before kick-off and will be able to drive into the stadium to unload. Vendors should be set up and have their vehicle moved when gates open 90 minutes before kick-off.
Giveaways, sampling and selling are an approved use of the activation space, with the exception of food and beverage sales. If free food samples are being offered, a list of ingredients must be clearly displayed at all times for fans to see.
Tourism Vaughan and Inter Toronto FC will review and approve applicants, and an expression of interest does not guarantee an activation spot.
Demographics
York Lions Stadium has capacity for 4,000 spectators. The average attendance for Inter Toronto FC home matches is 2,000 and is one of the strongest crowds in Canadian soccer. Home matches are intimate yet vibrant with passionate fans and a family-friendly environment.
In the 2025 season, ticket buyers lived across the Greater Toronto Area with most residing in Toronto. Youth aged 18 years and under made up 41 per cent of ticket sales last year.
