Parks, Trails and Green Space

No matter where you are in Vaughan, there’s likely a park or sport facility nearby. The City maintains 1000 hectares of parks, boulevards and open spaces, more than 230 sports fields and more than 200 playgrounds.

North Maple Regional Park is the City’s premiere park with 200 acres of new parkland, a double artificial turf soccer field complex and over 5 kilometres of trails. In the future, the park will expand to 900 acres.

Vaughan residents also love the Kortright Centre for Conservation, Boyd Conservation Area, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and their neighbourhood parks.

If you like to cover some ground, find your perfect trail with the Great Walks of Vaughan and keep an eye on the 100-kilometre Vaughan Super Trail project.
