About Inno-Hive
Inno-Hive is a registered Canadian charity based in York Region that designs and delivers hands-on education and skills-building programs in STEM, digital literacy, artificial intelligence, sustainability, food security and entrepreneurship. Founded in 2020, Inno-Hive works alongside schools, farms, community organizations, employers and social enterprises to make future-ready skills accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. We believe emerging technology should benefit everyone, and we focus on practical, applied learning that leads to real outcomes at work and in the community.
The Program: AI for Business
Through Talent City Vaughan, Inno-Hive is delivering AI for Business, a free six-session training program that helps Vaughan residents and employees of Vaughan-based businesses use artificial intelligence confidently and responsibly at work. Each 90-minute, instructor-led session builds on the last: getting started with AI, productivity and communication, career readiness, supervising multi-step AI work, safely connecting AI to everyday tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and an applied marketing and operations lab. No technical background is required. Participants who attend all six sessions earn a certificate of completion and three months of access to session recordings and additional resources.
AI is changing how work gets done in every sector, and Vaughan’s small and mid-sized businesses need people who can put these tools to work safely and productively. AI for Business is built for the staff who keep those businesses running, from entry-level workers and administrative, marketing and operations teams to owners and managers. It is delivered with training partner Digid.ca, an approved advisor under the Ontario Centre of Innovation’s Digital Modernization Assessment Program. By building practical AI skills close to home, the program helps Vaughan residents stay competitive and helps local employers grow their own talent.
