City of Vaughan

To remain competitive with other GTA municipalities and to attract office development, knowledge-based industries and contribute to complete communities, as of January 2020, the City has launched two Development Charge (DC) Deferral programs for office development across Vaughan – a pilot project in line with the Region’s incentives program.

In addition, the City is also extending its existing Community Improvement Plan (CIP) for the VMC and Weston Road/Highway 7 intensification area.

These programs will be concluding in 2022.
